I arrived at Andrea’s home to a very calm atmosphere. She was getting ready with members of her family, her bridesmaid and flower girl. The bouquets were very summery and made up with sunflowers, allium and gypsophila. In the buttonholes the sunflowers were replaced with bright yellow gerbera.Andrea’s wedding dress was lovely in delicate chiffon with tiny beads and sparkle around the sweetheart neckline and along the side ruching complimented perfectly by her beautiful shoes with mirrored stilettos. Her waist length veil had a scalloped edge with pearl and crystal detail and the jewels in her tiara were formed into flowers. When everyone was ready their son provided the BMW for transport to Cottrell Park.Jason’s twin brother was his best man.Andrea and Jason’s ceremony was in a suite facing out through a lovely bright window over the golf course and the bride became just a little bit emotional making it perfect.Drinks followed the ceremony and then we were off for some photographs in the grounds around the golf club and some quiet time for the couple. This lovely couple had said they don’t like photographs but they are really very natural and photogenic. The reception room was decorated in a beautiful natural and yellow summery theme with sunflowers, hessian and lace. There were more tiny sunflowers on their wedding cakes.Andrea and Jason had arranged their wedding meal with Spiros and this was followed by speeches including those from the groom and the best man. Their guests could best be described as a great crowd. This was a lovely, fun wedding with the cake cutting at the end of the meal, where there was a rainbow centre as a surprise for Jason. Then on to the evening reception with the happy couple’s first dance together.Thank you Andrea and Jason for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was a truly lovely day and I am sure you had a brilliant party.
