Stephany was beginning her wedding day at Holm House Hotel in Penarth with her Bridesmaids, Mum, Sister and Son. They were in the fabulous bridal suite at the hotel with it’s four poster bed and bath actually in the room. Stephany had deep red roses in her hand tied bouquet and a very beautiful champagne, fitted gown with ivory lace overlay. It had a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves and tiny buttons down the sheer back finishing in a sweeping train. Her delicate hairpiece, drop earrings, sparkling champagne shoes and stunning deep red necklace completed a picture of sophisticated elegance.Stephany walked down the aisle with her son to meet Gavin for their wedding ceremony in the intimate lounge at Holm House. Many of their guests had travelled from far and wide for the wedding, even from Australia. This lovely couple braved the chill for a walk along Penarth Pier for some of their couple shots. We then had couple, family and group photographs in the back garden at Holm House. Their bridal party were all close family members. We even managed a tiny peek of sunshine.Apple centrepieces on the tables for the wedding breakfast, lace heart place names and heart shaped Welsh cakes in deep red organza bags enhanced the already beautiful room. Emotional, funny and cheeky speeches followed from Stephany’s Mum, the Groom and his Best Man.We had time for a few more couple photographs before the evening reception started. The cake was cut in the middle of the dance floor while lots of photos were taken before Stephany and Gavin’s first dance as husband and wife. And, of course, not forgetting the bride’s dance with the other very important young man in her life.I am confident it was going to be an amazing party with a huge band and Dazzle Events providing a mirror photo booth for their guests’ entertainment. Thank you both for inviting me to be your wedding photographer, it was a truly lovely day and I wish you every happiness.
