Astrid and Nathan’s wedding day all took place at Coed-Y-Mwstwr in beautiful summer sunshine which meant that we could get lots and lots of lovely photographs outside.
My day began with Astrid, her mum and her bridesmaids, beautiful dresses and flowers and really special hugs between mum and daughter.
Sparkle was the order of the day with Astrid’s stunning bridal gown and the combination of sunshine and sparkle lit up the room.Delicate roses from Amsterdam matched perfectly with the amazing bridesmaids’ dresses. Such a clever and well thought out combination.Nathan was all smiles during the final touches, then a quick pose with his groomsmen before Astrid descended the feature staircase to their ceremony room.
The ceremony was emotional and was followed by a lovely blessing and readings in French, Welsh and English.Signing the register and a few photos were followed by the happily married couple walking out into the sunshine for a glass of bubbly and the confetti shot.As I said previously the weather was really kind to us and we managed all the couple, bridal party and group photographs outside in the glorious sunshine. This was a real bonus for a slightly nervous couple when it comes to photos, but they all turned out to be beautifully natural. There were lots of kisses and cuddles as there were throughout the day.The bridal party were super sports and joined in all the fun.Coed-Y-Mwstwr always looks beautiful for the wedding breakfast and Astrid and Nathan’s decorations were no exception. Just stunning.Their speeches were very emotional as this lovely couple have already been on one of life’s big journeys. There were smiles and fun when it came to the best man’s turn to speak. As well as their beautifully decorated wedding cake, their parents surprised them with Connie and Colin catapiller cakes. All smiles as Nathan escorted Astrid onto the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. A very special dance indeed.Followed by some joyful partying.Thank you Astrid and Nathan for the opportunity to photograph your wedding day. It was amazing.
