Jemma was getting ready for her big day at he mum’s house with her mum, daughter brother and bridesmaid. Jemma’s bouquet was of pretty deep pink, pale pink and white gerberas and gypsophila. She wore a delicate head piece with pearl drop earrings and necklace. Jemma’s stunning wedding gown was in ivory taffeta with a semi-sweetheart neckline and a corset back. Topped with a lace bolero. Everything came together to give a very delicate feel. Nick had time for a cuddle with their cute as a button, flower girl, daughter while waiting for Jemma to arrive.Barton’s Mill is a very atmospheric venue with lots of dark wooden beams and soft lighting, enhanced for the day with wooden hearts hanging from the chairs. Jemma and Nick had a cute ceremony with his son handing over their wedding rings. For their couple photos we went for a stroll along the river to The Great Barn at Basing House. This is a stunning location for photographs and with such a lovely couple my job was not at all difficult.Time for a bit of fun with the family and bridal party back at Barton’s Mill before their wedding breakfast. The weather was kind and everyone enjoyed Fizz and Pimms out in the garden of the venue. There was emotion and cuddles during the groom’s speech. The naked cake with different flavour layers was definitely a show stopper. And there were big smiles for their first dance when the party started.Thank you Jemma and Nick for inviting me to be your wedding photographer. It was a joy to be part of your special day.
